Childrens Corner

Good oral hygiene at a young age is the first step towards healthy teeth.

Children need supervision to brush from the first tooth until the age of 12. A child does not have the skills to brush properly and is not able to understand why it's so important!

CHILDREN'S Brush Timer

The video above is a fun way for your child to brush their teeth! The video lasts the appropriate amount of time for a child up to 12 years of age. The video also works on computers, tablets & smart phones so your child can access the video morning and night.

Brushing your Baby's Teeth

"At first, just wet the toothbrush. As soon as teeth erupt, you can start using toothpaste in the amount of a grain of rice. You can increase this to a pea-sized amount of fluoride toothpaste when your child is age 3. Brush gently all around your child's baby teeth -- front and back." - WebMD

Getting them into a routine and making it fun!

"When you're creating a morning and evening brushing routine for your kids, there are dental activities you can do to make it more fun. Help your little ones look forward to brushing by making it a fun game. Sing songs with your toddler about brushing teeth to help them get excited. The Department of Health has a great selection of tooth brushing songs." - Colgate
